Sherrills Ford Elementary Beats Its $60,000 Goal, Raising $72,513.87

Sherrills Ford Elementary set out to raise $60,000 in two weeks. It finished at $72,513.87.

According to the school’s PTO, the final Make It Happen total cleared the goal, which means the school can move forward with all four of its priorities. Those are an outdoor classroom with turf and convertible benches, a 6th grade celebration at Westport Swim Club, more picnic tables on the existing concrete pad, and subscriptions and instructional materials for teachers and students. The PTO says to look out for the outdoor classroom and the new picnic tables on campus.

Congratulations to the students, families, teachers and PTO volunteers who made it happen. The PTO also thanked the friends and neighbors in the community who gave.
