You can buy locally grown mushrooms without leaving the county. Catawba Mushroom Partners in Newton grows gourmet mushrooms, and De’Farm on Blueberry Hill in Catawba, better known for its u-pick blueberries, also sells mushrooms alongside its jams and flowers.
