Our Local Spots page isn’t just a list of what’s here now, it also keeps a little room for what used to be. Midway Marina isn’t around anymore, but it was part of this community for a long stretch, and we don’t think a place like that should just quietly fall off the map because it closed.
If you remember Midway, or there’s another spot from the old days we should be tracking down and writing up properly, that’s exactly the kind of thing this page is built to hold onto.
